Tell us a little about you and your beloved: We met on a blind date. The proposal was perfect, Lisa has an obsession with cupcakes, so Jason took her to San Francisco to watch the bay lights on the bridge. He asked her to look out into the water and as she turned back to him, he was on one knee with a cupcake which had the ring on top of the frosting, he then asked her to marry him and of course she said, “YES!!!!”
What was the most amazing part of your day? The whole day was amazing! Jason’s family from Texas was able to fly in and be a part of the wedding. It was so nice to have all of our family and friends together in one place to celebrate. Lisa was able to be walked down the aisle with both her father and stepfather and it was such a special moment.
What else would you like to share about your big day? I highly recommend the “first look”.  We were able to see each other for the first time with a private moment that only we would share.  It takes the nerves out of the situation and gives you a moment to take it all in with your future spouse.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Take your time and enjoy every little detail.  The time goes by so fast and if you blink you will miss it.  Get your future spouse involved in the process, it is so much fun to plan as a team so you can get the wedding that you both dream of.
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance?  Videographer!  The day went by SO fast and I wish we had captured every little detail that we may have missed.
